(The Resume Realist, LLC) (“gumption.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

Services We Provide

gumption. offers career strategy and coaching services, digital products, written deliverables such as resumes and LinkedIn profiles, speaking engagements, group programs, and related content. Specific deliverables and timelines for each engagement are outlined in individual service agreements, proposals, or product descriptions.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services or purchase our products. By using our site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Payment and Pricing

Prices for services and products are listed on our website or in individual proposals. Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. For coaching engagements with installment plans, missed payments may result in paused services until the account is current.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Due to the personalized, time-intensive, and intellectual nature of our work, we do not offer refunds on any products or services, including digital products, coaching packages, group programs, or written deliverables. This policy applies whether or not services have been fully delivered at the time of a refund request.

If you have concerns about a service or deliverable, we encourage you to reach out directly. We are committed to working in good faith to address any issues within the scope of the original engagement.

Client Responsibilities

To get the most from our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful information about your background, experience, and

accomplishments

• Respond to communications, intake questionnaires, and draft reviews in a timely manner

• Attend scheduled coaching sessions or provide reasonable notice if rescheduling is needed

• Engage in the process in good faith

We reserve the right to pause or end an engagement if a client is unresponsive, uncooperative,

or acting in a way that makes the work impossible to complete. No refund is issued in these

cases.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website and within our products and programs, including but not limited to the Gumption Method, frameworks, worksheets, written content, graphics, logos, and proprietary methodology, is owned by gumption. (The Resume Realist, LLC) and protected by copyright and trademark law. When you purchase a service or product, you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the deliverables for your own career and professional development. You may not resell, redistribute, repackage, or share our proprietary frameworks, templates, or program materials with third parties without written permission. Final client deliverables (such as your resume, LinkedIn copy, or bio) are yours to use for your own professional purposes.

Confidentiality

We treat information shared during coaching engagements as confidential. We do not share your personal career details, stories, or materials with anyone outside the engagement without your permission, except as required by law. Testimonials, case studies, and social content are only shared with your explicit consent.

No Guarantees

Our services are designed to support your career strategy, clarity, and positioning. While we bring expertise, research, and a proven methodology to every engagement, we do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, salary increases, interview invitations, or promotions. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your effort, the market, and the decisions of employers or other parties.
